Had 2 hose breaks today....both Goodyears. Both older and seldom used. First was right at the machine. Second was at the far end of a 300 foot run. Had to send Tony back to the shop to try to find a usable hose to finish up. First time I've had problems with the GY neptune, but they were old hoses. Guess I'll be replacing a few hoses next week.

I still don't trust the non-wire hoses.

Cut 2 feet of each end and reverse the direction every year on GY. If you run a high heat TM use only for 2 years and toss them.

I had a gy break yesterday.Only third time in 10 years. It wasn't violent. just started spraying out of small hole. I aimed it at carpet and helper shut down truck pretty quick. Not very black at all. Cleaned right up.

If you have to replace some anyway, buy a length of parflex to use and see how you like it. If you don't like it, send it to me. 8) I'll pay shipping.
