2005 GMC With Butler

Just started shifting late, especially in two lower gears

Getting the van serviced Tuesday, fluids are good and had transmission fluid changed Nov 2011

Butler unit has 5000 hours, van has 79k

Thoughts?

In Nov when the fluid was changed.....did they just suck it out and put in fresh or did they pull the pan and replace the filter......


When you take it in on Tuesday....make sure they replace filter

then take it to the guy that will do it for $5 cheaper

Impressive ratio of hours to miles. Only 16 miles for each machine hour. That machine was a workhorse, not just running around.

I've seen many that had 100's of miles for each machine hour.

I'm in a pretty rural area serving a large area so mine runs about 20-21 miles per machine hour.
