Picked up a 2012 e350 with 15k miles.

I need a proper fuel tap with return.

Dot approved.

Who has one. How much.

I installed the one on my 06 pita but was not bad.

So Larry are you actually making these? Your website claims you are. Only DOT certified fuel kits I know of are transfer flow. Pleae post a copy of your certification

Where did you go and what price did you get it for? I am looking for a new ford with windows, 2008 or newer. The local Jon Don doesn't have the tap?

Brent, you'll have a hard time finding a new 2008.

I got a 2012 one ton with 15k miles under $18,500.

Pull up auto trader. You have no problem finding a used 2008 or newer.

I'll inquire at Jon-don, in fact headed there today for some supplies., but I'll gladly order it if the savings is huge.

In 07 I thought I paid nearly $500 for it. Seemed absurd.

Well more like gently used.. nothing with over 70,000 miles.. There was some good deals but they go quick.

I paid around $600 with install for the fuel tap on my chevy.. the good thing is with the new ford i'm getting is I won't need a fuel tap, the machine is going to run off propane.

Setting up properly for propane will make a fuel seem cheap.

Just left Jondon.
Lol.
Joe is gone. At check out I requested price.
Answer I got was. I'd not even know a part number and rather than helping me he suggested u ask someone else.
That's screwed up. I was the only customer in the store.

Guess I won't be buying it from Jondon.

As usual, John is mouthing off without any shred of actual knowledge.

Transfer Flow makes the only non-OEM EPA-approved fuel taps in the U.S.

That is the manufacturer of the one I referenced.

Even their taps, need some special mounting considerations,

for best performance.

TW takes about 45 minutes the guys take a little longer as they get checked by TW and they know the fuel kits is not something that "just ok" is acceptable it has to be TW acceptable. Also an older Chevy is easier then a newer one and a ford and dodge or different. We charge an hour regardless though and if the guys take 1.5 then it takes 1.5 they are the ones that sign their name to it and quite frankly the life of the operator and everyone on the road or in the houses they clean are on their hands.

O.yeah, 1 unexpected benifit of the new tap. I was able to eliminate the electric fuel pump that my old van required. My kohler wouldnt run without the electric fuel pump I guess because of the smaller hose on the old tap. but no issues drawing straight from the tank with the new tap.

Scott;

Operating without an electric pump, will work on some engines.

The real test is hot weather in the summer causing vapor lock.

We usually bypass the engine pump, and install electric pump at the tank.
