I run a 16 inch castex wand and have for 20 years.
1 1/2 tube.

The pmf 16 inch is a POS because I have one.
The reason is the slot is too wide.

My castex has a narrower slot so it works better

With an over lap of an inch on my strokes I cover 15 inches.
Never could figure out why some dumsumbitches use a 11 or 12 inch and with an overlap you ain't getting no where.

Time is money gotta scoot.

Well appreciate the replies.

I know the benefits of 2 in but want to keep 1.5 wand.

Remember a thread with talk of good reducer cuff for tile tool. Can't find it.

No one runs a 16 inch wand??

Maybe westpac and cmp have 14 with 1.5 tube

CMP does have 14" tools with 1.5" tubes,

but the 1 3/4" tube model we stock flows better.

16" wands are too wide for many direct-glue-down carpets.

The dips in the concrete leave wet spots after extraction.
