Man, what a day! Phone ringing off the hook, blew out my back teaching my little guy how to ride a bike, large jobs, and issues with my 870.
All I wanted to do today was get my jobs done and get home. My lower back is like spaghetti and everything is a chore. So, there I was today, happily cleaning when my wand stopped shooting out water. I ran out to the TM and started systematically troubleshooting. Checking the filters and switching among multiple water faucets and the kitchen sink did nothing. The water box was completely empty and not filling. Water was not running through the hose from the faucet. After some time I came to the conclusion that the water pressure at the house I was cleaning was too low.
My waterbox only holds 15 gallons of water. I ended up refilling it manually as I progressed through the house. See pic below.
I returned to my shop and started looking into the issue. The water pressure at my shop is excellent. I hooked the water up and nothing was getting to the water box. After some more probing, I decided to take apart one of my QD’s on my fresh water supply hose. What I discovered was amazing. That thing was clogged with all sorts of exciting things. I pulled out two screw heads, a corter pin, rubber hose gasket, bug guts, and a bunch of leaves. The QD was packed so tight with debris not a single molecule could pass. After a good cleaning, all was back to normal.
