It’s hard to truly determine the worth of a company’s employment by hourly rate alone. I’d have to know the full benefit package to truly determine what a job pays. Health care alone can double the hourly rate depending. However, that truly does seem like poverty wages.

douchebags

A good mechanic starts at a minimum 25/hr

Charge top dollar for a tm with overpriced parts and pay the staff bottom dollar without any option to negotiate based on experience.

Correct me if I’m wrong. But hire a high school graduate and teach them in house if you want to pay that low

I showed this ad to a friend in the industry, this was his reply.

My daughter and her Boyfriend live/rent in an old Boston suburb in a small old house. Radiator heat, old windows, clean but very dated. $3800 a month. Utilities are $600 a month, 5% state income tax 6.25% sales tax

Im not out to beat on Butler, the whole supplier side of industry does no pay mechanics a living wage.
