The carpet is only 1/4"-1/2" thick. If your wand can't get out the funk, you're doing something wrong.

Turn up the psi to 600-650 and bump it up to 10-12flow. I think rotaries are a waste of money

They worth the money as you get older. And you will continue to do a consistent job throughout the day.

If you can't dig it out with a rotary you can always grind it back in further so it's not noticeable.
