Water Strategies Cruise release 3.14

Galveston, Texas – The Water Strategies Cruise seminar and networking forum just completed its 6th annual event. There were over 100 people involved to join in the unique and interactive event. Water Strategies Cruise partnered with Violand Management Associates and the Commercial Drying and Restoration Institute this year for their program. The program theme was “Oceans of Opportunity” and featured presenters like Chuck Boutall from Air Quality Services, Mickey Lee from Mickey Lee Consulting, Howard Wolf from HW3 Group, LLC. Scott Tackett from Violand Management Associates and Kent State University headlined the event. Mr. Tackett is an adjunct professor at Kent State University and has been in executive management in the automotive industry. His thought provoking discussion was a real hit. Tackett’s discussion included recruiting and retaining the right personalities, effectively managing talented employees, and tips on effective non-compensatory employee bonuses.

When the group was not deep in discussion, they enjoyed jeeps on the beach in Cozumel, snorkeling in Grand Cayman and sailing in Montego Bay. These events, as well as, the cocktail parties and free one-on-one time with industry experts, attorneys, and insurance professionals are the types of iconic networking opportunities Water Strategies Cruise has become known for.

Water Strategies Cruise is already preparing for their “Lucky number 7” event. It will run from February 23 – March 3, 2013. It departs Ft. Lauderdale, FL and travels to Tortola, Grand Turk, St. Thomas and San Juan, PR. For more information on Water Strategies Cruise, go to www.waterstrategiescruise.com or call 888-835-3871.

The other twenty five were comped by the IICRC.

Looks like high quality instructors however it is just a front for a cruise. If you enjoy hobnobbing with the industry elite then this is for you.

If you really want training there are better options available.

Check with your accountant before you take a tax write-off for one of these. My friend the Fed says that cruise seminars automatically get flagged for a closer look.
