is there anyone around here that knows about dry ice blasting?? how much is the equipment?? any other details would be appreciated.

Call Wayne at Grandnorthern (800) 968-1811, he will give you rates on the various sizes.
If you have Airgas supplier there they rent the blaster, even the generator if you don't have one. And of course they sell the dry ice too. At least the KC store does.
