What do you use to apply sealer to a really rough surface like brick pavers?

Sponges, mops, etc... get caught on the rough surface and leave fragments behind.

I've never sealed brick but I suppose you can spray it on. It can be spread with a paint roller and shouldn't dislodge any particles.

Solvent - airless sprayer, water-based - sprayer

Paint roller is possible, but many variables makes for differing results

I grew up finishing concrete and laying brick. I also cleaned and sealed it all and prefer using a sprayer on such highly porous surfaces.

What are you sealing it with?

James;

Since we use a solvent-based fluorochemical,

the best solution is an electric sprayer with proper TeeJet,

to get the correct coverage.
