Question for guys who live in the northern climates.

On jobs where my truck is running the back of the van where my wands , chems etc get cold and sometimes freeze.

I have a PTO.

What brand, type etc would you recommend to place in the back to keep things toasty.

No electric ceramic because it's just a pain to find an outside outlet at homes or businesses.

I use a couple ceramic while the van is at home in the garage but this is for on the job.

Im surprised with the doors closed you would have an issue? Maybe just a small battery powered fan to circulate the air...

With a PTO you should be generating enough heat inside the van while working. Keep your doors closed and shield hoses going into job.

You can always run an auxilery heater to the rear of your van. just make sure with the proper valving you can turn it off from the rest of the system.

I run a cleanco quad 56 and the heat exchangers are between the two front seats.
I also have a barrier of my horizontal 100 gallon water tank with hose reels on top.

The side doors are open for the hoses during operation.

Maybe a small kero heater?

If the doors are shut I cant imagine everything not staying warm. Plus the van is running, turn the heat on.

Go to Walmart and get yourself an inverter - $35

Go to the farm supply store (probably one ever half mile in Nebraska) and get a "brood light" and fixture - $25

Hang light in back of the van and turn it on.

Oh, remember to hook it up to the inverter.

Don't call me to thank me.

splice into heater hose, not radiator hose

Why an inverter for a light bulb? If your going to pull that many amps just use a 12v headlight.

Put a access port in the side door so you can close the doors while cleaning.
Then all you would need if that is to turn the van heater on low.
