Has anyone come up with a remedy for BHT yellowing?

I am asking for a friend.
🤣

Is it from bonded urethane pad or another source?

Are you sure it is BHT yellowing?

If so:

Citric acid works decently, though citric/sulfamic blends do seem to have a bit more punch.

The toughest issue is that if you don’t thoroughly rinse citric acid out, it can cause resoiling, but if you do, the yellow can come back.

When it was a common problem, most guys would treat the area, and just rinse lightly with the hope that you left enough on to keep it from coming back, but not leaving so much that the yellowing returned.

If Jin’s suggestion on the Citric acid doesn’t work, brown out treatment is your other option

If those two don’t work, the yellowing is probably from previous optical brighteners being used, instead of it being bht
