Here we go.... :D

The list of things that I was offered contains stuff I will not even write down..and a lot of usual things like dogs, cats, bicycle, old computer, sodas, real french wine, all kinds of services for my business or home.
Things I take: cash
I don't like tips other then cash, it makes me feel like I owe them something more. The cash I just slip it in my pocket and we forget about it....

Daughters, Neices, Grand daughters. I just blush. Then I get the comments "If I were only 20-40 years younger, you'd have your hands full" then the wink.

Two bottles of Gentleman Jack was the best other than cash, the worst was a bag of microwave popcorn.

A vineyard a few miles from my house always tips me with a couple bottles of wine. All their wines are $30 a bottle.

My favorites are the fruits and vegetables that are growing in the customer's orchards and fields. I enjoy driving away with a grocery bag full. Persimmons are my favorites.

Recently had a lady give me a prayer rug that I had just brought back after cleaning. Said she really didn't have room for it and dint want her dog damaging it any worse, so wanted to give it to me, as she felt I would appreciate it.
Told her I felt funny taking it as she just paid me to clean it, her reply was classic, "well I wouldn't have wanted to give you a dirty rug now would I?"

It now hangs over my bed on the wall pointing straight up.

Well ruggies can I retire off this 'er what, give me yore best approximated value based on what you can see here, and yes its worse than it looks, you can actually see right through it where the original owner/user folded it and placed his head multiple times a day.

Kinda ratty, but I like the BEAUSAGE of it.

Sort of a tip

A $2000 Lorinzer watch, a hand carved wooden purse type thing that is very old, an antique chess folding chess board case, and a few vases.

The lady and her husband were moving from a 10,000sf mansion to a brothers guest house. They offered me so much more but I couldn't take anything else. The tech I had working with me got suits and shoes, so many we could barely close the doors on the van. If we didn't have a tm we could have really made out.

Most recent was a home made apple pie.

cookies brownies/baked goods and veggies from gardens are pretty common.

I was offered a slate top pool table once

One older fellow gave me appx 20 board ft of black walnut (black walnut goes for $15 a bf )
Told me to come by anytime and get more.
He probably had $50,000 worth of walnut stored in an old dilapidated mobile home he used as an out building

I've been offered sexual favors a couple times.
and yes, I graciously declined.
(and one of those birds was a fo-reel hottie) I wonder if her husband knew she was a hussy....

I had these older, really nice people, who every time I cleaned, gave me 10 or 12 dollars...and told me to make sure I had a good lunch.

Went on for about ten years...then one time I noticed a calendar from IGT referencing 'Native American Gaming'...I asked the guy if he liked to go to Indian Casinos...he was in his early 80's at the time...has a Hispanic surname...so it really surprised me when he told me that he was a member of a 29 member tribe...

That Owned a Casino!

All his grandkids were going through college and becoming lawyers...and they live modestly. But the old guy had always been a hard worker...and valued someone that worked hard...

I think I've gotten cooler tips...(2 cases of hand picked wines from a wine distributor)...but none more meaningful than old Moxie and his 10 or 12 dollars!
