I know some block and tab everything they move, but not I.

So many sofas and chairs have plastic legs these days.

Well today I made a huge mistake on identifying a sofas legs.

Now I wonder, at what cost?

Now I'm wondering often do I make this mistake.

I mean they make the plastic stuff look so much like real wood.

Now I'm interested in what it cost me.

I'll figure it out.

Bummer!

I think some plastics can bleed as well.

Hope you can resolve the issue and keep the client.

Oh the client is thrilled, she has already sent me a referral. ( her sister )

As for what I figure it costs me per 4 plastic legged piece of furniture blocked by mistake.
$0.135

I guess I can live with myself.

This will likely drop you out of the top 25% club.

Wonder if this will open up a spot for Greg?

He seems to be drooling for this fictitious honour.

As far as your dilemma, Usually I am able to remove wood stain with some Stain Magic,

even if a client doesn't want the furniture moved I will still tab the front of the couch or block the dining room table or tell the customer that I would clean right up to it due to possible bleeding

First it's Kippy Newberg,
Then it's Clark Van Fleet,
Not to mention Richards avatar that practically changes on an hourly basis
And now to top it: "Royal Man"!

That's it. I am out of here.

P.S. Sorry Dave, they are only accepting dead carpet cleaners to the top 25 list.
Which may give a new meaning to "free marketing forever." :p

yes some of the plastics will leave permanent marks if not tabbed. Don't know how but i have seen the marks left from previous cleaners not tabbing. we tab everything.

We barely tab.... Because we move no furniture, except for sofas or coffee tables if they ask. Then they are tabbed.. Thats why my back is better than most, if customer wants furniture moved, it must be done before we get there. Never had a complaint about moving furniture. If they are older then I will.

I was gonna say this might be a job for cti's uv light and stain magic. $120 UV light compared to a room of carpet?

Its weird. Customers say this on the phone before I even say we don't move furniture.

Ill have everything moved out of the room for u

Just go around everything
Just move my sofa and end tables

People don't hardly ask for furniure moving anyways
