While I respect your advice hugely I don't buy this one Jim and would be concerned at some taking your word as Gospel :headscratch: ( Talking about the first part here as the second part is a given . We all want to look like Richard.
The surgical hospitals that we clean would have a hissy-fit if we suggested tearing out carpet due to a bit of blood.

It's also proper to put down a plastic moisture barrier under the carpet when doing water claw work, but realistically who does that. Especially when the rooms are filled with furniture.

I used a drimaster uph tool to extract first in order to keep it from pushing anything down with no prespotting.

After removing the bulk which seemed to be on top, I saturated the area with Stain Zone and lightly brushed back n forth just to massage the fibers.

10 min later I rinsed the SZ and whatever was left in the carpet.

Sprayed a light mist of SZ then groomed.

Warned customer of a possible wick up and to call if it did.

No call back ..

If you think I'm insufferable here Ross, imagine what living with me was like for my children!

I don't mind being the grumpy Cassandra type......I can work my own hours and there is no heavy lifting involved :)
