People are stupid. They think ‘oh, they are going to charge me X - amount, that’s outrageous... I can do it myself’.....View attachment 89154View attachment 89155

I got a call from one of my best referral sources here in NV, hisneighbor fell down a staircase, cracked head on the brick wall and died.. he knows there's blood in the carpet and the guys wife doesn't want to come home until it's cleaned up but he doesn't know how much blood is in the carpet , itsonly one year old, he knows that.. but it's been so long since I've done a blood job... can you remind me of how much is too much , how much is illegal the mess with and how much is just plain immoral to mess with
Your time is coming too!Old people have all the germs and diseases. MERSA, HEP, Scabies.... Don't fool yourself.
That a hazmat situation good lordPeople are stupid. They think ‘oh, they are going to charge me X - amount, that’s outrageous... I can do it myself’.....
my wife’s family decided to clean up after an uncle.... unattended death.... middle of summer, 3 weeks before anyone found him. Everyone who was involved with the cleaning mysteriously got very sick for 3-4 weeks after.... they thought it was just the flu...
Like I said, PEOPLE ARE STUPID....
Wow.... there was a local situation where a guy was taking prostitutes to his single wide on his parents land..... after 3 of them were never heard from again, the police did an investigation. They proved he murdered at least 3, but suspected up to 5 more.... the resto company that was called in, I do work for....A wealthy elderly client died when a recently repaired artery in her neck burst in her sleep.
Her son, who was inheriting her millions, wanted me to clean the mattress, because "it was new, and expensive".
I don't swear, but WTH?
My EXACT words Lee...Burn it.
Yeah once dried up for a period of time, any thing hazardous/contagious died out. Hepatitis, for example can live for a week after dried out.this person was a teaching professional at the College of nursing. And I believe one who was quite high up in the heirarchy there.
When arranging for the service she told me that blood, after being dry for some time posed not hazard.
???

For not wanting to waste her money?
"Oh, they are elderly so I know that don't have AIDS or hepatitis (any letter) since they don't do drugs, have tattoos, and aren't having sex"
First, there are other ways to get hepatitis.
Second, the elderly are not as naive or abstentious as you might think. With the advent of viagra and similar products, older men are seeing prostitutes (see: Robert Kraft), then spreading disease to unsuspecting wives and partners.
No blood is presumed safe. Period.
A guy I know was visiting his mother at a nursing home. She was, as I remember, in her early 90s.
A middle aged maintenance man walked by and she waved at him, giving him a sweet smile and wink.
Her son asked why she responded like that.
“That’s Shorty. He’s more essential to us ladies than the people who prepare the meals”
He asked her what she meant by that.
“Do I have to spell it out son? Your mother still has the needs all women have...”
So yes, the elderly still have sex. It’s an amusing tale, but also a cautionary one
