They are not too loud, Depends what you compare it to. But I've had problems with mine two blown engines in 2500hrs so I'd spend an extra 4 or 5 grand and buy a new oil or propane fired machine but that just me.

Just find yourself a used Prochem...

I have 3,400 hours on my Peak and just waiting for something to go, I think I'll be waiting a while... And they are pretty quiet.

I have a 421. It is in a trailer with the main exhaust going through the floor. It has been a great TM. It has about 4K hours.
How loud? A lot less than my ThermalWave was. It is loud near the TM when it is running. I do early morning/late night jobs and have never had any noise complaints from neighbors.
