Cellulosic browning on most all wall to wall carpet is a thing of the past. That’s because most carpet today is made with all-synthetic materials. The exception is if you ran into a wool berber carpet.

Instead of browning you likely are experiencing wicking. Rinse it better, lots of vacuum strokes and you may want to post pad or post pad/encap to avoid the wicking issues.

If they do wick I would most likely recommend remedying the issue with an encap/pad, simple fix.

I have a few clients that I do the extra rinse and still had some issues. I use last chance from pro choice and no more problems on the white berber

should have mentioned the cause, it is most likely from wicking soil, as Dave mentioned.
You can either remove it by dry vacuuming and a thorough rinse

or prevent it from showing by either not rinsing so deep, ie don't get it wet
or the above remedies of encapsulating or padding
