Butler System detergent dilution

I am gonna be trying a different detergent I ordered from Butler and was wondering if anyone knew how I should dilute it in the 2 1/2 gallon jug? It says to use it full strength but I think that I would use it up too fast that way and it's not exactly cheap 80$ for 2 1/2 gallons

If you're using soft water in your fresh tank then cut it in half.. probably be just fine

I don't think there is any rinse solution that you don't dilute at $80 a gallon. You better read the use instructions.

Doesn't Butler offer 2 different flow systems, one is GPH, the other is metric I think. I would think it depends on which system you have. (don't know much about Butler detergent systems, although we use them--we always use plain water, apply detergents first with other equipment.)

I wouldn't sweat it. Your metering system likely doesn't work very well anyway. You might get a year off that container.

It actually works really well based on how low my detergent container gets after each day and the black pebble always goes right into the yellow block range on the meter

Gonna try running it with 32 ounces like I've done in the past, I believe some guys dont even use an emulsifier they just rinse with straight water.

that's because 87.933333% of Butler owners gave up on keeping it in functioning order

If it's such a small orifice that you can put an undiluted jug of chemical on it, seems easy to clog it up. Considering thatnother manufacturers use 320 to 640 to 1 ratios.

Follow the Butler directions if you don’t have a flow meter that has GPH on it.

The standard (non GPH) system pulls very little concentrate, and provides the equivalent end use dilution as 32 oz per 5 gallons of water as is used in most every other GPH meter system.

If you are still in doubt, just call Butler tomorrow and they will explain it according to which style of metering system you were provided.

The Saiger rinse is 21$ a gallon or 4 gallons for $79. Each gallon makes 4 of the 2 1/2 gallon rinse containers. 1 quart for 2 and a half gallons RTU rinse. I think it works as well as anything else. A case will last a long time.

That's exactly how I use it, and it works great.

I'm curious though, since the label says 32 oz per gallon in a standard 5 gal rinse jug on a normal gph truckmount, and also 32 oz in the 2.5 gal Butler jug.

That is a huge difference. Something like 320 to 1 vs 3,200 to 1.

The amount of product drawn from your Hydroforce sprayer is metered at about 8 to 1 (a pint to a gallon of water) What comes through your solution line is usually metered at 256 to 1 (1/2 ounce per gallon). The change in pH is minimal.

I actually meter mine at 4:1 I removed the yellow tip, easier mixing for powder presprays imo
