I think one of the bearings on my driveshaft of my butler system is going bad..it still spins but it makes a grinding sound. Anyone have any idea if the bearings are replaceable?
Yes. Could be the clutch too.
I can’t imagine trying to fix it myself
Good luck
Try taking the belts off the blower and cat pump first. See if the grinding remains. If no grind add the blower belts... If no grind... Add the cat pump.... Or do opposite each unit first and such to eliminate if one of these parts also making noiseI think one of the bearings on my driveshaft of my butler system is going bad..it still spins but it makes a grinding sound. I will try that. What if the grind remains even if I dont have the blower or cat pump belts on?

Butler can help you with other test info.
It takes about two hours to mount a new drive shaft
Take out the front drivers seat.
Need to pull the engine shroud
Pull the breather box.
Remove rear pulley with pulley puller
I did clutch and drive shaft once
That's an overview but not bad to do
A
Any idea on the price for that?

An over ten year old unit probably due for some TLC, after all it outlasted the GM running gear.
Give me a call if you are interested in rebuilding it yourself. The bearings cost less than $100, and the clutch is $150ish. I don’t recall the part numbers but the parts are very easy to get. It took me 3 hours to remove, rebuild, and reinstall. 907-350-0999
Shouldn’t you be fixing the damage you caused? That seems extremely reasonable
Anything in particular you want fixed?Shouldn’t you be fixing the damage you caused?
Yes my brother and I are gonna install it. Butler said they would help if I have any questions during the process. You doing it yourself?
He would be wise to use an indicator you hack. Will you install using the masking tape
Process?
