Can the best Central Vac system out clean the best upright?

My 886 wont pick up anything after we use our 1979 central vac/ turbo vac combo.

It's nothing For or Against central vacs, but i do think the "high end" homes fall under the clasifiication of "what is the Best vacuum"?
The one that gets USED regularly. and the thrice a week housekeeper is the answer to that scenario.

Even though I should know better, My house is lucky to get vacuumed once a week. :shock:
