Can you replace the "O ring" in the QD housed in plastic?

You need a sharp tool (a carpet owl will do) to be able to lodge the existing one out.
Then you need to push the new one in with a screw driver or something like that that can maneuver and push it into place without damaging it.

Good luck.

or buy a new one (non plastic) from a local dealer...or your favorite supplier... and take the plastic off the bad one, and put on the new one....

its a little tricky but not bad....

because even after replacing those. O-rings (if you dont nick them) sometimes the QD is just worn out...
