House smells like cat pee. It also has these orange spots all over every room. The rectangle is where I steamed one of the stains out using a dye stain remover.
I know the cat didn’t pee orange pee, right?
So what explains this color … assuming it’s pee?

looks like the cat got into the AZO............if there is a cat

If that is AZO in the urine (human or cat), that's a very difficult dye stain to remove. Getting that stain out without damaging the carpet's own dye is a pretty narrow line to walk.

Nicely done Marty.

I spent about 2 to 2.5 hours working on getting every single stain out. I took a break and went to lunch. When I came back into the house the smell of steamed urine mixed with dye stain remover just about was more than I could bear!

Soap Duddy Spay and Go didn't work?

Shocker.

But thank you for stepping outside of your comfy zone and starting a thread. Best of luck with your spot!
I’ve never used Spray and Walk.
If the stains hadn’t been orange, I would have just used his PSor. After removing the stains, I sprayed PSor for the odor and the RE’d it. Everything cleaned up great. I’ll go back tomorrow to check on the smell.

I also come across several of these dark urine stains that the homeowner tells me their pet had a UTI
