Yes, Draned the oil last time only to find I did not have cat oil.

Are others running 30 ND oil still doing changes every 500 hrs or more often?

It's so easy to change, and so cheap, I do it every 200-300 hours. Occasionally filter it to check for debris.

did for years

and i use 85wt gear oil in the blower .
It's never below 32 degrees and the working environment is always over 200 degrees
