There two different things. You can get a vac gauge at any auto parts store. CFM measures air volume, which one are you looking for.

How about CFM?
In some cases when you make changes on your system one goes up and not the other righ?
How does it works?

If you measure the lift accurately right at the wand . . .

then CFM will be roughly proportional to the lift generated.

IE, an increase of lift at the wand will signify an increase in CFM.
