Changed my Xentherm today

realized it been a lot longer than the 300 the manual recommends.. :shock:


Not nearly black or burnt like old blower oil but what the heck, can't hurt.

Riffled out the lower HX tubes of soot as well.


If I see an increase in temps tomorrow I'll be surprised.

How often are you VATr's doing the swap and riffling? (is that a word?)

seems like Shawn F. said you can use the transfer fluid for a long time. How did it look ?

when I loose 20 degrees then I change mine.......that is the only time I have ever noticed a difference in the temps......

can be Steve, but I'd never be with out a Dual Wanding truck.


Look for Judson to bring a DW'r to M7F.

So what is the top temp you get on a Vortex? Whats the opinion on my Genesis, I've never dual wanded with it, will it do the job?

im running mobile therm 603 at 75 bucks for 5 gallons 230-240 all day with 24 flow

Did you use Dynalene, a Mobiltherm, or a Therminol?

We've been using Mobiltherm 605 for our customers with good results. Relatively inexpensive, and easy to get.
