Cleaning with my Cleanco yesterday and the chem jug started to overflow. The chem draw tube was back feeding. :?
Has anyone experienced this? Seems to me I read about it once but could not find anything by searching.

Hey Jim, clean or replace the checkvalve/filter on the end of the siphon tube.

Thanks for the referrals.
for easier reference...it is called a footvalve...and yes they can be cleaned out...don lose the little spring!

Jim:

You may also want to check a check valve that many units put at the pump end of the supply tube.

back feeding is usually caused by a hole in the diaphragm assuming you have a chem pump on the pump.

I think the footvalve is shot, looks like the screen on the bottom of it is out of place, I could see the spring in behind it.
