cimex, auto scrubber

There is a cimex auto scrubber that utilizes the 19 inch planetary head, gravity feet solution tank, vacuum/squeegee/waste tank as well on ebay for $995.00 I'm betting it would work great for several purposes if the squeegee could be left up and the the vac motor turned off when need be.

A couple of ideas: Encapsulation, carpet scrubbing, hard Surface cleaning, Natural stone polishing... talk about faster maintenance.. if you are using monkeys pads or resin discs, would make clean up faster anyways.

carpets bog the DC motors to hard....ask me how i know





yes i tried an autoscrubber on a carpet once upon a time, to pre-scrub


my bad that is the 110v model...still...wonder how its geared...

i have oft wanted one for hard floors...regular autoscrubbers tend to leave a line down the middle where the pads dont make as hard as contact as the center

Was it a regular autoscrubber or a cimex autoscubber? The cimex to my knowledge is AC based like the standard cimex unit.

it was the regular...

now part of the drag i am sure is because they spin "inward" where as the cimex has that plantery and doesnt "dig in"

i had to adjust the head pressure way light...and even then 10' in i was like "uhhhh damn this aint a good idea"
