I have SS tanks so just a hose out is all that's ever needed and I only run a filter 25% of the time. I will jack up one corner of the van if needed to allow the the sediment to drain out while hosing. You could use a wet/dry shop vac to remove sediment.

Klaatu, my employees use that same excuse when I insist their truck be washed every day even if it's raining...

My answer is: "do you brush your teeeth every day? Why? You're just going to eat again in a couple of hours..."

No filter?

I put those pool chlorine pellets in mine several time a week.

Keeps the stink away.
