I'm finding powerburst has more BANG.

Adding alittle SP to powerburst takes care of everything.

Jimmy;

Compare the two prespray products "dollar for dollar",
and let us know the results (add the percarbonate to both).

Here's a question I've been thinking about Larry. How much SP should I add per gallon to recharge prespray I've got left over from the prior day? Assuming I use 2oz of Powermax per gallon in my pumpup?

1/2 oz. of percarbonate (our Powder Brightener) will restore the oxidizer content.

If you mix it in a pump up or battery sprayer at 8 oz per gallon and scrub it will clean grout just fine. It's not as strong as some strong ammonia products but you can clean tile just fine with it. It may not be strong enough for all jobs I'll admit that but for most residential it hits the spot especially when you compare the price of a viper venom to it.

For the cost of powermax I would just toss the unused if you are concerned with potency.
I really don't see any difference using it the next day.

Curtis;

I think you must be running into "floors with floor finish" on them.

I have a product to raise the pH for you to test side-by-side.

Next time you order, I'll send a gallon to test with the PowerMax.

Both of them will still be more cost-effective, than the PC product.

Larry , is this chemical similar to grease eater by Magic Wand.
Your price seams to be much more agreeable.

I miss the Honey Badger...

I wonder if he still sells much of the Powermax out of his area

It certainly had it's time as the Pre Spray Du Jour here...

I think Judson was next in line

The reason for such wildly different dilution ratios between in-line sprayers and pump or lectric sprayers

Having checked several customers for the quantity of prespray they actually apply to the carpet,
we found that:

several customers of his are too stoopit to know how to pour water out of a boot .
LOL

I gave up on the powermax when I couldn’t get all of it to dissolve. That was so frustrating.

It was GREAT, then it wasn't, then it was good, then it wasn't...

One of the boys was at a Ryan's 110 miles out at 3 am and called to remind me never to order it again.

I think it was made on Wednesday?
