Next time, Mikey, ask around privately and give the prize after the fact. Back in the day of the Blue Board, there had to be 1,000 BS posts in the last day. It really took away from the purpose of the BB, which is sharing of knowledge. The winning post could say "TEST" or "SCREW YOU", not adding to the value of this BB. JMO.

Imbesi.... I kinda think that it went pretty well on the last day of the contest on the "Blue Board"! I don't know what you are talking about.

There were two contests on the Blue Board and in the first one "100,000" posts, I know for sure the guy got his truckmount.

Bottom line is you have got to find a way to encourage registered members to be more avtive, sponsors look for active posters, It's not hard to have 25 legit post, or even 100 legit post with a little time, delay the contest to 250K and set some guidelines.

In the best days gone past, the best boards had the best prizes as well...

Lots of distributor support here, something that lacked a bit back then.

ps: remove the visual post count at 200K and announce the 250 contest rules.
