I use the old water claw, have both medium and large sizes. Has anyone used the new ProChem tool for extracting? This carpet I was extracting on Monday didn't appear wet in most of the basement, but it was. Everywhere I used the claw, it would draw up water to the tool. It seems the PC tool would need a "standing water flood" to be effective.

I used the prochem tool at connections and once you get used to using it correctly it is affective. Remember with the prochem tool there is a correct way of using it and a wrong way.

My favorite extraction tool is the Phoenix extreme xtractor.

I have found that I pull even more up when I go over with my Rotovac

Now ya dun it, lol

Sometimes a claw is all that is needed over lugging the Roto up 2 flights of stairs.
