There's no difference in the two hoses.

I am phasing out my parlex as i keep getting ruptures. Had them now for 11 years so im due. Ive been buying a 50' of hose every few months when im at my supplier and just rotate them. The newest becomes the lead hose. The oldest ones get sold on kijiji. Never have problems this way

I've been using hydroforce s hose for several hundred hours now and I'm loving it. It's skinnier than the continental/Goodyear hose, yet it's not as hot to the touch as those hoses
