As many of you know, my family started and continue to raise funds for the "Danielle Marie Hodge Memorial Scholarship Fund", paying out $5000 this year in scholarships. The endowmnent fund is now at $108,000! We depend on great donations to the Chinese and silent auctions held during the diner (which is November 2nd this year).
One of the Premier items this year is a 4-hour cruise aboard a mid 1950's Chriscraft 54 foot yacht, completely restored, from Put In Bay on Lake Erie to a private island/club named Rattlesnake Island. There will be a tour of this completely private, members only island, lunch at the clubs resturant, and return trip. I'm sure the Captain (a friend and client of mine) would allow a little fishing on the cruise.
We're hoping that some of our "higher income" dinner guests will bid this trip into the 4 figures. It would be cool just to cruise on this beautiful yacht.
