Ive explained to some customers when needed that with each cleaning the carpets may stay clean longer. I cant get it all out the first time on the nasties but if they take care of it better and have me back before its trashed I will get even better results.

They usually aint paying emough anyway.
I agree. If you have not changed your oil for 20000 miles or more one oil change is not going to get you a clean dip stick

What type of sprayer do you guys use with your juice? And approximately how much moisture do you apply per 100sqft or an average size bedroom?
We use a modified tank system that we've developed for our cleaner. Any sprayer will work though. We recommend about 1 gallon of cleaner per 200 square feet, give or take a bit depending on circumstances.

Yikes...1 gallon of liquid applied to about 200sqft? That sounds pretty wet. On average how many pads do you go through to try to pick up that much moisture on that same 200sqft?
Just trying to understand more about how you guys do it...

We're considering worst case scenario (trashed apartment complex) on 1 gallon per 200 sf; however, in most residential situations you'll get 3 times that amount. This will be enough to dampen the carpet fiber and one side of a bonnet will pick up the moisture from about 200 sf., flip and repeat as needed but don't skimp on the bonnets. Follow with a general drying pass. With your experience you'll be able to see if it's clean or if it's wet. It really is vlm - I promise!

One gallon for every 200 sf is not all that much.

It's just the natural reaction amongst the experts here to be critical at first glance.

And, the possibility that your coverage suggestions was a SWAG is not lost on me either.

We go through 2 gallons for every 600-800 sq. ft. Along with the HOST in absorbing the moisture, the carpet isn't wet for more than an hour. Really heavily soiled carpet could use 2 gallons for every 2 rooms (400 sq. ft.).

Zee mentioned dirty socks after walking on the carpet when its encapped. We have this opposite of this issue and never had a complaint. I mentioned in another post, a shoe store hired us to clean, because the HWE companies they used prior would always turn their customers socks black after walking around on it. The general manager said this problem no longer exists with our cleaning process, and we clean 3 of their stores.

And how do we know that the socks didn't get dirty when they walked across the filthy kitchen floor, or had even been changed in the past two weeks?
