how do you pick up all the fibers and hairs after you use the machine.

do you prespray then run the crb?

Larry, looking for a solution that doesn't cost $3Grand.

If its that bad use a grooming brush and or suck it up with the hose.
I don't usually get that much debris. Its more fibres being scrubbed up from the carpet.

Where can one get those collector trays?

While impressive to show all the dust bunnies there are better ways to scrub a carpet and save time.

I use my GLS just for commercial carpets.

Good googly moogly!

How much did it cost you to replace that carpet after you ripped the sh*t out of it? :p

Says the guy who doesn’t prescrub

That’s just polyester carpet for you. It just sheds a ton of staple fibers. You really notice the difference between poly and nylon with the bagless vacuums. I do try to avoid letting a customer see all the balls of fiber a CRB pulls.

If Polyester was a girl, I think she would live in a trailer park somewhere in the deep south and talk real slow.
My name is Poly,,, Polyester Jane-bob-moiré

polyester or not, I believe your brushes are too aggresive. They make several brush types for those machines. I use a crb's every day (same type as yours) and don't pull fibers up like that.

I would be worried what the customer said after you pulled up that much of her carpet.

This is not an answer to your immediate question, nor I am advocating dry carpet cleaning.

But this is a HOST machine that is a CRB and vacuum in one unit.

I can see where this could be a handy machine in a lot of situations.
