What are your recommendations for Credit Card Processors for people without Internet Phones. Cell phones don't work in all areas out here.
Even our workshop does not have great Cell service so we still have a Hard line. We do have people throwing money into our Vortex when we drive around but would like to have them throw in the occasional Credit Card.
Any one do Terminals?
Readers?
Carbon Paper Copies?
Write down Info till they get Home/Office?
Smoke Signals? Whatever!

Ron, you can sign up for a virtual terminal like Costco, or Intuit etc. Even Chase Bank has one (2 year agreement....forget it).

Write down the card number and run it on the computer when you get home.

Anyone is crazy for having the swiper machines etc unless they have a store front.

Some of the virtual terminals have the fees ...like 20 or 30 bucks a month plus charges.

Paypal also has one you can sign up to use.

I tried AMEX's virtual terminal and didn't like it.
I used Intuit and it was pretty good....but limited for what I needed.
I hear Costco has a good merchant services deal....not sure.

I hear Paypal sucks...but not sure again.

Hope this helps.

Oh, and get a smart phone you luzer. lol j/k

Edit: Virtual Terminals will usually have higher transaction fees....like a whole % or so. Not a big deal.
