I was doing a pet spot and flushing it out with my spot claw and it collapsed my hose. I was hoping it would pop back but no luck.

Can I fix this or do I need to cut it off?

How can I prevent it from collapsing my hose in the future?

Thanks

That has happened to me on several occasions.....

It happens. Just cut it off and re install the cuff. All will be well. The probable cause can be many things, just make sure the hose is straight when used.

Something caused it to get weak right there, bending maybe?

Caused by bending and kinking in that area along woth the heat. Cut off and don't look back. Cheap hose does it a lot.

The only time I've seen that happen is when the hose got in front of the exhaust. The heat weakened the hose, which caused it to collapse
