95% of the homes I've cleaned this spring and summer have had their furnace HUMIDIFIERS on. Most around the 35-40 setting. As I clean past them usually in the hallways I turn them OFF. Why people want to use their air conditioners and have moisture added is beyond me.

Some have even had dehumidifiers running in the basement.

One lady I made the mistake of telling argued with me that it says it should be on.
I didn't put up much of an argument because she never lets me get a word in edge wise anyway.The kind where you start to say something and she gets louder and louder.

And I always ask if I can turn ceiling fans on after I leave rooms.
Always ask because some fans are broke or they don't like them on because of the dust blowing around.

Must be a KneeBraska thing.

Greenie, I Googled to find out if there is an unusual number of retarded people in Nebraska, and about the only thing I could find was from a site defending 2004 Bush voter's IQ levels. Nebraska actually did pretty well with an average of 102.3. It could simply be that 95% of Walrus's customers are "mentally challenged." Intrestingly, California faired rather poorly with a large number of inbred morons. Go figure.
From the site:
"The results are given in the chart below:

Column 1 shows each state's ranking by IQ, with the highest IQs on top;
Column 2 show the state's name;
Column 3 shows the number of electoral votes that state has;
Column 4 shows the state's actual average IQ as determined by the unbiased McDaniel study cited above;
Column 5 shows the exact percentage of that state's electorate who voted for Bush in 2004.

The rows are color coded to note which candidate won each state's electoral votes (blue = Kerry, red = Bush).

The analysis continues below the chart:
