Hi guys:

I just sold a CFI 3000, which is PowerClean Freedom unit without a heat bypass.

The buyer now wants me to add a bypass. However the cost is more than he wants to pay. Here's my idea: I told him I can add a 3/8" solution bypass in front of the exhaust heat exchanger that will let him use only the coolant and blower when he cleans furniture.

How does that sound, and does anyone have a source for a 3/8" stainless water bypass?

Thx,
Dale

I use a 1/2" Dema 454P-24
It is better than the 3/8" model
That is if you are talking about a solenoid valve

Hi Kevin:

Thanks. No, a diverter valve is a manual 2 way splitter. It simply allows one to manually send the water to' or away from the exahaust exchanger. If the old Prochems would have done this instead of rerouting the exhaust, users could have saved a lot of heartaches.

Thx,
Dale
