That's an excellent idea, the cost of postage isn't that bad, you pay for it to you, and I'll pay for it back, as this jives with the GG philosophy, everything we sell is 100% money back.

I do wonder though, what are you seeking from the Bayco, 10% more vacuum? The ability to do one dry pass instead of two? The ability to run longer hose runs?

Just want to make sure you are going down the right path.

For some, it's just as valuable to upgrade hose size.

What am I looking for?
More vac performance, of coarse
I'm really more interested is seeing for myself
what all the hub bub is about.
Is 10% more all I can expect?
For $200+ beans I might be a bit disappointed.

With a finely tuned 6008 Vortex just by tossing the external filters and using wider elbows I got more suck then I want to deal with.


I would need pinhole Glides to use a Bayco every day.

Leave the Bayco on and hook up a RV360 to the beast. You won't even break a sweat.

Bayco on my 25/47. Rpms slow when approaching 15Hg, then I hear the hiss, the rpms increase again. Running a greenhorn with holed glide I don't notice any diff at all at the carpet. Perhaps the FF system works best with unglided wands which lock down on the carpet.
Lisa mentioned the best reason not to have any leaks behind the wand, it takes away from performance at the carpet/wand interface. If I were to introduce and freeflow it would be better right at the wand head where I could easily adjust it, which is more commonly known as a vac relief on most tools
