I know there are a couple of 87lb rotary machines out there but does anyone make an orbital with a 1.5 hp motor and weighs ~90lbs.?

Trinity makes some heavy ass stuff. I would call them, they could probably cobble something custom together for you.

Challenger pad systems is about the closest. It's 15" and 3/4 horse power.

For what purpose? to use in residential.? I find that my smaller 175 works wonders where my larger OP may be a pain.

But, now getting off topic ,,, would using a smaller driver under a unit result in more weight on the smaller area, achieving results sort of like adding weight. ? Of course , less production rate. But in a pinch. ?

With rotaries I prefer the 1.5hp and a 17" deck. Then I add a 20" driver with riser plate. That way I can adjust for the situation I face.
