they pulled me over today. First time for me. They only did a level 3 inspection which was just me. It only took about 5 minutes. I don't know what the other levels are but I'm glad he didn't weigh me. I had a full 200 gal tank. I have no idea what I weigh, but I know Aerotech will only put 100 in my truck.

I have been thru MANY level 3 inspections, and more than I want to count of level 1 inspections. All of them were with a tractor trailer.

I was just weighed the other week and I forget what it was. 13,000 pounds maybe. I had a full water tank. They made me drive on scales and said I was good.

I think my gross is 12000. Glad he didn't weight me. I had 200 gallons on board. I think they weight you at the dump for free.

I run close to 9000 sometimes with an extended Ford van..driven carefully.

what is a level 3? like what do they check? if your van doesn't have a weight class what do they do?

I drive a box truck. Depending on the level they can inspect everything. Level three he just inspects my driving record. He checks for warrants basically. They can weigh you, check for extinguisher, hazard placards, brakes, wipers, lights, hazards ect. It was quick and painless.
