Ironically it was my post on this site that prompted the phone call. Thanks Mikey! (and no you don't get a commission)
You didn't really think I wanted to stay in the carpet cleaning business did you? lol
I've determined there are three types of people in the world.
They break down in percentages like this;
50% are FOS and don't know it
40% are FOS and DO know it (cheats, liars, BS'ers)
10% actually know what's going on ..L.T.A.
I was curious about actually dry with a meter so I brought one in. I had fans running for 45 minutes when I used the meter. It read 0 on the surface but when pressed in it beeped steady. We did a heavy pretreat and then scrubbed with the Whittaker. It always takes a lot to flush her carpets. She never vacuums and they track in black dirt. The large zipper has 05's I think and we cleaned it at 600 psi. It's not Saiger quality but I did video it if your interested.

I'm guessing we don't hear about the failure rate. I'll stick with what I do and maybe I'll stay married unlike Cole.Dam, wish i could do that.
One of our accounts this guy flips bars/nightclubs.
The funniest part is 3/4 times they fail and he ends up buying them back at 10-20% then flips it again. Nice racket this character has....
Seem to be around $150k a pop
He ALMOST talked me into it, until i seen the failure rate and woke the hell up.
Pretty sure that's what's under there. I've never looked to make sure that's what Eric installed. He said he wasn't sure if he had the 05's in stock but would use them if possible. Your not getting more than 3 gallons through 1/4" but it should be larger drops. It would only be 30 flow at 5000 psi with a pump and hose that could support it. I'll upload it to YouTube. You're running 30flow? Video please....
Gene, When you ordered your Zipper Wand, we were talking about building yours with an 18 flow. However, I didn't have the 03's in stock at the time. You are running a 12 flow (02's) . With your gauge set at 500 psi, your unit is putting down 2 gallons per minute. The only person I know that runs a 30 flow is Ron Lippold. A 30 flow with a stock 3/16" line was not possible to adequately keep up the pressure at the jets. I did a bucket test with an open 3/16" and the gauge set to 500 psi. It was only able to produce 3 gallons per minute. I had Ron send his handle back to me, I thought I would have to modify it to accommodate the CTX 90 fitting. However, I didn't need to. I have a 1/4" line and the CTX fittings in stock if anyone would like to run a crazy flow like that, but I honestly don't think it's needed.
Ok Eric thanks.Gene, the line on your Zipper is 3/16". It can be changed out to 1/4".
Ouch! can you say "low blow"? lolI'm guessing we don't hear about the failure rate. I'll stick with what I do and maybe I'll stay married unlike Cole.
I dint see any reason to up the flow above what you normal run on your wands..
We've heard it all over the years here..
Dry when I leave..
Dry enough to post vacuum..
Drier then when I arrived..
Dry in two hours or we pay your mortgage off..
What is your "When will it dry" speach..
