How many Hg's will that prochem pull before she quit's? Belt driven or coupler?

I've always wondered why Prochem says to run 13hg? Is the weak link the tank or the drive system?

There's quite a difference between 13 and 17.

Harpie!

You don't think your 50 HP (who knows how little torque) carburated 5.9 has more suck than my diesel 175 hp with 385 ft/lbs torque do ya?

all i got to do is tighten up my belts and turn up the mercury until your motor stalls!

i might even be able to stall both your motors at the same time!

Here's a better idea. when u lose you keep your truck (that's punishment enough). but you also have to drive it around for a year with the new wrap i designed for ya!

Harper,

When running both TM's, can you have the side doors closed so it minimizes noise levels? Also, what have you done under the truck (silencers, etc) to help reduce the noise levels as well? This is an issue for us for nightly commercial accounts that have a hotel or luxury condo above the commercial facility, they're not always too happy with the "roar".

Bill,

These prochem's are extreemly quite...You can talk on the phone @ 20 feet.."no problem"

Another "unique" quality of this BOX......"beside the vanity step's"....is there is NO back door.!

If you had a NOISE issue..? You can point the truck in the OPPISITE direction of the building.!!!

250.jpg

This FOCUSES....all of the noise in another direction.. 8) It is very similar to a "Woofer"
speaker... The vibration & volume....Has a specific direction... 8) 8) 8) The enclosed
BOX..acts as a silencer "itself"...!

Makes sense.

Do you prefer having both TM's sticking out the same side vs if they were on both sides of the truck (if they were to fit)? Say a dual sliding door on both sides.

Also, I could not find a box like yours, which sites have custom boxes that you could direct me to.

Thanks

one side...just makes more sense...!

The main reason I bought the TRUCK was the box...!
I love the vanity srairs...So easy to lift ..175's,RX 20..ect,ect...Easier on the back.. !gotcha!

I also Like the LOW PROFILE of the box...I think it looks & performs better.. 8)

The NEW Truck will have 2 sets of vanity stairs...

Any custom box builder can produce this style of box... :!:

I know of NO ONE anywhere that...that is currently operating this type of set-up.....!

It is not a cheap experiment...!

Bass is non directional FYI. Wrong analogy.

However, in the case of a PD blower, the noise comes from the discharge hose/pipe, which means that noise is directional.

You also don't need 2 separate truckmounts to properly dual wand.

You guys crack me up.

Remember it's just carpet we are cleaning.

Maybe instead of spending all that money on machinery, you should spend some money on training your Techs so they can clean properly and not need all that "power" to blast through the dirt.

Do I really need to create a list of Con's since Harpocrite is to shy to do it?

Love you too.

This boner thread has been brought to you by someone who is waaaaay to unsure of himself and needs to promote something big to make up for his inadequacies.

I'm sure the first lame ass response from Harpo will get all you other big machine followers in an uproar as well.

Carry on.

I believe it was right on topic.

If you put 2 TMs in one truck you're a "real" cleaner alright...a real DUMB cleaner.
Good God.

Edit: The only good reason to put more than one TM in a truck is so you can haul it to all the cleaning events and try to sell them to cleaners.

It still makes more sense to have two vans and two TM's. Harper may be profitable with a set up like that because of his demographic.

What is you average ticket Harper if you don't mind me asking?

Mine is $175, so unless I was going to dedicate a truck like that to commercial only I don't think I could ever be real profitable with a set up like that.

Ron, I would only be a hero here....and that doesn't do much for me.

I think a good TM has it's place and is needed in certain situations...but it isn't the end all to end all.

I've owned TMs, Chem-Dry's, Porty's....I've worked them all and the end result isn't much different on your residential customers carpet.

Yes a flood is a different story and even a bad urine contamination is different...but everyday stuff is not.

As long as you have good chems, good aggitation, good time and maybe some heat ....everything is okydoky.

I think most of the TM guys are majoring in the minors....just my opinion.
Focusing on the "what" instead of the "who".
