John Jantsch is one of the few authors that really writes for the small business and he is a master for social media. Definitely sign up for his blog. On the weekends he posts the most helpful sites that he has seen over the past week.

He's got a newer book, too - the referral engine. A must read. Tons of real world examples and specific actions for you to take. Even has specific examples for carpet cleaners. His podcast is also worth listening to.
