the button that makes it work died today. where can I get a new one. My supplier doesn't carry it. It looks like a part you could get from an auto parts store. It's just a heavy push button like a horn button.

Close but the one that I need is flat. I don't know the model I've had it for 25 years. I go take a picture

The motor starts with a solenoid, about 40 amps output.

Any momentary switch with smaller wires can be used to trigger the solenoid.

Not on this one. It uses a heavy duty switch so no solenoid is necessary. It's pretty old.
