... or when you miss a call?

Works mint for getting the correct spelling of names, address before you even talk to them, to see if they are a "good" prospect, I have even started using the street view feature to help me get a better idea on the house size/neighborhood for over the phone quotes.

It doesn't work all the time but at least 75% of the time I'll say it works.

JB what I do is take the address and punch into the property tax database and a picture of the house with all the details comes up.

When I miss a call I do superpages.com reverse number look up who called and return the call

I did book one a few weeks ago off a missed call, dudes name was like Dick_Dickendorf, didn't wanna say that wrong, after I booked the job and sent out the conf. letter I realized i never even actually asked his address.
Did the job, all worked out fine, he never even realized that I used my supernatural telepathy powers to hoan in on his house.

Yes, google is our best friend, along with 411.com reverse look up directory.

use it a lot, but I actually find our own customer database look up has a higher hit rate. With the proliferation of cell phones and decline in land lines, plus people not listing their numbers I find in our market the google, 411.com and other hit rate are pretty low.

Double Edged sword.

I had a client do it to me. She commented on a few things about my house and the size of my yard. I had no idea what to say to that. Nice lady - great tipper. But it was a little unnerving.

Sometimes I just type to hear myself type.

I use it on suspicious calls. I avoided a craigslist hooker that I scheduled. Her number resulted in several posts & pics of her. It would have ended in a "I got no money but I got this" thing.
