How does the tool release from the carpet with no vac relief? Demo video doesn't show much.

I have a 59 blower and don't want a fight to move extractor each time.

Thanks

The extension handle helps in applying leverage to break the seal.
Not sure if the handle would help against your blower though.

I was just going to say.... put one foot on the flash extractor, and lean back slightly bringing your foot back with it, should break the seal pretty easily

Don't you have a vac relief on your machine? I don't have a vac relief on my wand and it seems to work fine. Sorry Brad, maybe I haven't a clue about about the flash extractor but i would think the TM would take care of it.

Okay thanks guys.

Doug I have borrowed a waterclaw and win you pull handle it is a vac relief.

Just want to make sure it wont be a pain to use if I choose the flash.

Well, with my 2 water claws......there is NO release from the carpet with out the vac relief built into the unit. The 59 pulls it down tight.

The weld broke on mine no handle about 8 months in, I use mine for urine spots mostly and I just put the hose on and pull it off by hand thats how I break the seal

Just snapped the handle off one of our flash extractors today.

It's maybe 3 months old.

Will see if they do anything about it since I was told it's stronger than the water claw.

I sell both, and have used them both.

You really come to appreciate the vac relief on the original Water Claw after doing a room. It's easy enough at first with the Flash Extractor, but after a while it really adds to a fatigue factor. Get the Water Claw if it's for yourself, and a Flash Extractor if you are trying to get your guys in shape. LOL

What is this waterclaw have 2 versions? 1 with a release and 1 without?
One for those who pay for quality and one to compete with the knock offs?

When I bought my 1st spot claw there wasn't an onboard vac release even invented for it yet.
But it sure looked better than do it your self model from HD.(Nic o claw)

I bought the new one with the thumb releases and wow what a differance they made.

As I have said before, after attending a MF I was given a $100.00 off coupon from Adcopro which I used to buy my Med Water Claw that came with case and free freight and was on sale. So all and all I got 1 hell of a deal..

A bit of wisdom from one who knows.....

Remember there is two ways to buy oats,

Goto the feed store and buy them by the bag or

be a cheap SOB and go pick your own out in the field after they have gone through the
Horse!!!

I have the waterclaw and spot claw. I love the vac release.

I found this thread on google. At least I know I'm not the only one with misery. Just like everything I suppose you get what you pay for.

I had not heard of anyone breaking the Flash Xtractor until I heard from PR today. But if anyone else has had a problem, they should be covered by warranty for 1 year. Check with whichever distributor you bought it from. If you need assistance, contact me.

The design of the base plate on the Flash Xtractor does not seal as tightly as the original Water Claw tool. So, there is not as much need of the vacuum release, certainly not needed on the spotting tool. But on the medium sized tool is is a little easier to use the original tool.
