Anyone have any experience with either?

I would like to know if the E30B has any major upgrades/differences over the i7?

Here are links to where you can compare these two cameras -
i-series: www.flir.com/thermography/americas/us/content/?id=24076

e-series www.flir.com/thermography/americas/us/content/?id=36820

The new series is the e-series. It is intended to replace the b series cameras. This has so many new cool options, that I will just encourage you to go to the site to see all the information. Here are just a few highlights that are available (check the model): It has bluetooth and wifi technology. It can send the pictures to an iPhone or iPad, etc. The meterlink is built in for use with the MO297. They have bigger pixels, better visible cameras and touch screens. They have increased the warranty for the lens/optics to 10 years, 2 years on workmanship and 5 years on the batteries.

There will be an e30, e40, e50 and e60. The prices will be $2,500, $3,995, $5,495 and $7,495.

The i7 camera retails for about $2000.

Bill;

Most of our customers prefer the I7 model (resolution 120 x 120 pixels).

The E-30 & E-40 offers better resolution @ 160 x120 pixels.

As Scott mentioned, the E series has a few additional features.

As a company, their warranty has been very good.

Larry
